Beach Cruiser at University

April 16th, 2008

Beach cruisers is a good way for students to travel from class to class on large campuses. And if the campus is rural, the way from dormitory to school to different buildings can be not very easy. This is the reason for a beach cruiser to gain popularity on campus.

Beach cruiser is the first thing the students think when they consider traveling from class to class on large campuses. The seat and position are quite comfy if one has a backpack. Students may even choose between a front wicker basket and a back book rack. The bikes look good and are well-designed. On a bike there’s plenty of space for elf caricatures if the bike has been widened. Students ride their colorful bikes with pride. On student designed his own bike when he was in high school, in the countryside of Chicano but he is using it every day when he goes to the University of San Diego. He simply locks his beach cruiser not far from the university building so that nobody could steel or break it.

Once when Juan (that is the name of the fellow we have been talking about) was coming out of Biology class, this boy greeted his fellow student who also had a beach cruiser bike. It was not a self-made bike, of a plain factory model, but still the bright banana yellow amazing colors attracted attention to it. Who knows what made Juan notice the girl, either the young lady herself or her bike, but he asked her about the class she was attending. She explained that her name was Jane, and she was also attended biology class. Jane was amazed by the twisted handle bars and the way Juan colored his bike and the two got acquainted very quickly. Juan suggested their going for a bike ride on Saturday, where they will be able to review for the next test in biology.

On Saturday morning Juan called at Jane at her dormitory early. She was already ready with a picnic lunch: bread and cheese, soft drinks. All the stuff was carefully packed in her white wicker basket, the one Rob didn’t have on his bike, but he put some blankets, and a radio in his rucksack. In Jane’s backpack was only Biology texts and notebook. Carrying this altogether was quite comfortable and they started to the beach.
